Design Responses: Identifying the key drivers for Ebbsfleet's design narratives 

Key characteristics of the urban structure and built form can be identified within each of the settlements analysed: characteristics which should become the focus for new developments within the Ebbsfleet defined area. 

Four distinct areas (which generally relate to specific topographical conditions) have been identified. It is envisaged that the characteristics identified below will not only be deployed as guiding precedents in the evolution of a language for each distinct area within Ebbsfleet but will also establish a common vocabulary for the Ebbsfleet Garden City as a whole.
